Congratulations to our own Roger Hampson who has won the over-60s Mens Doubles at the VETTS (Veterans English Table Tennis Society) National Masters Tournament held on 12th and 13th May in Thornbury.

He was partnered by Johhny Clarke (Sussex).  The feat was made more remarkable by the fact that both were scheduled to play with other partners who were not able to attend the event.

Scottish Senior Schools' Championships were held at Meadowmill Sports Centre, Tranent, on Sunday 26th February.

Congratulations to Renee Ho (1st) and Kay Lee (3rd) who have qualified to play for the U16 Girls Schools team at the British Schools event to be held in Guernsey over the weekend 24th - 26th June 2012.

Renee will represent the Scotland 'A' team and Kay will represent the Scotland 'B' team.

Table Tennis Scotland is delighted to welcome back the Inter League competition, taking place at Inverclyde National Sports Centre from Friday 30th March - Sunday 1st April 2012.  The competition will start on the Friday evening.

100 beds have been booked at Inverclyde so it will be a first come first served basis.

Table Tennis Scotland has done a fantastic deal with Inverclyde to offer the following package

2 nights accomodation, breakfasts (Saturday and Sunday) 2 lunches (Saturday and Sunday), 1 dinner on Saturday evening - £80.00 per person.

Entries have now been sent to prospective players.  Payment to be in no later than 24th March 2012.  Cheques to be made to DTTC.

PLEASE NOTE:

Following the Committee meeting of 27th February, the club will subsidise all under 18 entrants who will now only be charged £60.
